finally after working hard for 1 extraordinary semester and completing PAS. The day that all students have been waiting for has come. yep, it's a long holiday commonly known as a winter holiday by some of our friends who are in Europe.

At the end of the 2022 holidays, my family and I went to my grandparents' house in Pekalongan and Solo. Do you know the city of Solo? Yes, it is the hometown of our president Jokowidodo. We left on Sunday after the distribution of semester 1 report cards on Friday. My family and I go by car, of course, my dad is driving the car but sometimes when dad is tired he is replaced by my mom. My grandmother's house in Pekalongan is very close to the beach.. but this time I can't go to the beach because the sea water is rising and it's very dangerous, especially since it's been raining a lot lately, isn't it?

Friends, do you know that Pekalongan City is known as the city of Batik? Yes, because there are many batik craftsmen, from small houses to factories.

In Pekalongan City, there are lots of culinary delights that are unique and can be considered cheap, for example, there is suro porridge, then there is Nagano rice, blendung, Ketan biru, gemblong, and much more.

On Tuesday we left to go to Solo City. Nahh, my grandfather's house in Solo, there are lots of rice fields around his house. so when we want to exercise in the morning it's really good because the air is still cool and fresh. and there are rarely many vehicles passing by. People there usually use "ontel" bicycles for activities.

The next day we went to one of the famous museums in Solo City, namely the Danar Hadi Batik Museum. there are lots of collections of batik either made by hand or through a printing process. To be honest, I like batik because even though there are many batiks, usually they have their characteristics according to the region. then in the afternoon, we went swimming in the Pandawa water boom. Pandawa Waterboom is one of the biggest water playgrounds in the city of Surakarta, there are lots of rides that we can play there. So in the afternoon, we stopped by the Surakarta Palace. the Surakarta palace is surrounded by large white walls like buildings in the Dutch era. around the palace, we found someone selling rounds. Wow, that round tastes good. Anyway, if you go to the palace, you can try it, it's right in front of the palace under a banyan tree.

On Thursday my family and I went to Boyolali City. there I went to one of the tourist attractions, namely Cepogo Cheese and which is located between Mount Merapi and Mount Merbabu. Wow if you come here, you can see the very beautiful city of Boyolali from the top of the mountains. This tourist spot is like a zoo but the animals that are there are farm animals such as sheep, rabbits, donkeys, porcupines, iguanas, civets, and many more.
